Courtney Watson, all world MLB didn't play for the Irish last week (last minute 1 game suspension). He'll play this week and will shore their stout D even more. Navarre hasn't blown me away with his passing (or the receiver's drops) so far and now they face a serious upgrade in D in ND. Plus, Mich's run D hasn't been tested yet. CMU actually ran well on them and Houston doesn't run. Notre Dame runs well. 10 points is too much chalk for this rivalry.

Just my thoughts - good luck with it.

michigan got ran on by cmu at home week 1. Navarre hasn't look sharp yet, and his WR drop alot of balls. Yes Perry has ran circles around the chips and cougars but ND is a total another bracket this saturday. Regardless this game is always close, Throw out the rankings and let the two greatest football teams in college football history play.. Michigan wins by 4...

No way Michigan can give ND 10 points. Michigan does have a much improved offense but they have not played against this strong of a defense. Great game to watch. College football at the big house, ND vs Michigan can't get any better than this.
Buzzsaw says, watch but don't play.

Well, being from Mich, just wanted to put my 2 cents in. You would THINK that everything points to ND and the points......and believe me, so far, many are all over the Irish. But for some strange reason.......I think Michigan is a different team this year, look at the first two wins......in years past, Carr turns off the dogs being up 20-25 points, but not this year. I remember back several years, ND ruining Michigans dreams very early in the year, but I think this year is a bit different. Carr is out for blood and I am going out on a limb, and saying Michigan wins this game by at least 3 touchdowns. Call me crazy and nuts......but one mans opinion is as good as the next guys!

I agree, the "in" thing is ND +, but they CAN`T SCORE!! I don`t believe the Irish will get a TD on O. If Mich. plays a full 4 qtrs, it won`t surprise me if the Blue cover by more than 7. I lost last wk on the U in the ND game, like it here again, 27-10. The 2 greatest fight songs in CFB!! LOL

10 points is a ton to lay on a team who had the ball stuffed down their throat last week and has a questionable kicking team to boot. They might cover it but they might lose the game too. My money is on the Irish.

Notre Dame did not impress me one bit v.s. Wash. St. except for the last ten minutes or so. If Michigan comes to play, they will dominate N.D. The only thing that scares me from betting Michigan here is that Notre Dame is Gods team.

Good Luck

This is true & they are also the public`s tm & NBC`s. I`m not a ND hater but they got EVERY close call against WASU as they usually do @ S Bend, don`t see it here. I`m not going to bet the side BUT if I had to it would be Mich.

Line looks about right. Surprized ND did not show much through air vs Wash St. It is 2nd year of Willingham system and young wideouts are talented and should show something. Mich has run well but against who? ND was missing top lb's Watson and Gollsby who will play this weak and will help alot.

Guys and Gals

Remember this, in college football the biggest improvement is from game #1 to game #2. Notre Dame looked rusty vs Washington State in the 1st half but looked alot sharper as the game went on. Look for a dramatic improvement this week as Notre Dame's stellar rush defense keeps them in this game...Could be a nailbiter....

Pick for the Post-Nebraska Cornhuskers to lay one on Joe P and his Nittany Lions as pay back for last years Penn State ass whooping. It should be a long night for the Nittany Lions

THEBUFFROCK,
Missed this thread earlier..,,Michigan was a play for me, and for much of the same reasons you stated. In the past, I rarely have pulled the trigger on Michigan. Carr has been natorious for giving up the back door covers..I sense that this year is different.

This years Wolverines are very much in line for a national championship run, and I wouldn't bet against it!

GL this season,
